Ecocamping

Sustainability aspects play an increasingly important role in camping. 

The campings in the Ecocamping network represent a full commitment to environmental protection and quality. 

Ecocamping connects campings from all over Europe and enables knowledge transfer, support and cooperation between camping operators. 

Camping Liefrange is part of this Ecocamping network! 

At Camping Liefrange nature plays an important role. Natural greenery with local hedges, bushes and trees, including old habitat trees which characterize the camping. 

The pitches are integrated into the existing landscape and are located on terraces. 

Camping Liefrange relies on green mobility, with staff using electric vehicles. 

A shuttle service for guests is also offered from the train station in Ettelbruck. 

For a complete offer, the number of rental accommodations is increased so that every guest can enjoy a holiday in nature at Camping Liefrange. 

Energy for hot water is generated by solar panels which are located on the roof of the sanitary building. 

Cleaning products are of organic quality and completely biodegradable. At Camping Liefrange, attention is also paid to organic food from local farmers. 

Furthermore, various measures have been taken at the camping to preserve biodiversity and further expansion is planned. 

In addition to the EcoLabel certification, Campsite Liefrange also has the Ecocamping certification! 

This distinction makes Camping Liefrange the first camping in Luxembourg which is part of the Ecocamping network.
